Dylan Hennessy is a Toronto-based artist whose obsession with a broad range of music has led him down a winding path with many projects spanning multiple genres. Perhaps best known for touring his one-man band live-looping sets across the country, Dylan also crafts original music under his own name, for his rock band Mobius Radio, with his father in their acoustic duo 2 Shots of Hennessy, and produces instrumental Metal under Luminil. In addition, he performs a Live Eminem Tribute, plays guitar in Lostvoy, and drums in St. Doval. As a graduate of Seneca College’s “Independent Music Production” program, versatility and variety is the key to the connection that has kept Dylan glued to writing and performing music for nearly 20 years.

In recent years, Dylan’s live abilities have lead him to open for acts such as Finger Eleven, I Mother Earth, MONOWHALES, and have taken him to some of Toronto’s most recognizable stages like Yonge-Dundas Square, MOD Club, The Phoenix, and The Horseshoe Tavern. He frequently tours across Quebec and eastern Canada, performing in countless pubs, clubs, independently organized showcases and festival performances. His original music has taken him all the way to a 3rd place finish at the Indie Week Canada 2018 Finals out of over 200 artists, and resulted in a 5-show run in Manchester as part of Indie Week Europe.

Dylan incorporates a wide array of tones and effects, and as much influence from as many styles as he can into his own creations, where he'll often write, record, produce and mix all the the elements of his songs. He tries to “make a guitar and vocals sound like as many things as possible”. His originals often contain a blend of RnB, Folk, Hip-Hop, Rock, Pop, Blues, and sometimes highly technical and unconventional guitar playing. Dylan is truly an eccentric power force. He tries to support his local music scene as much as he can, in the same way it's been there for him throughout his journey.
